CAMPGROUNDS
Larimer County’s Department of Natural Resources operates two campgrounds in the Estes Valley for EVRPD – the Estes Park Campground at Mary’s Lake and the Estes Park Campground at East Portal.
Larimer County also oversees the Hermit Park Open Space and Campground in the Estes Valley.
Please visit http://larimer.org/naturalresources/campgrounds.cfm for campground information.
You can make reservations 180 days in the future online at www.larimercamping.com
or through the reservation call center (1-800-397-7795).
Most weekends (Fridays through Sundays) from Memorial Day through Labor Day, campsites are full and reserved system-wide, except at Hermit Park Open Space. Sites that are not reserved become available that day as first-come, first-served for people who are physically present at the parks. These sites can not be held, nor can they be guaranteed over the phone.
Most weekdays (Mondays through Thursdays), there are usually sites available at all campgrounds as first-come, first-served. November through April, almost all sites are available first-come, first-served if you choose not to make a reservation.
