MARY'S LAKE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS PHASE 1 (October 2014)

The Estes Valley Recreation and Park District (EVRPD or District) is seeking services for the construction of Electrical Distribution System Improvements, Phase I, at the Estes Park Campground at Mary’s Lake, located at 2120 Mary’s Lake Road, Estes Park, CO 80517. This property is located on federal land administered by the Bureau of Reclamation; the District is the managing partner.

Project work includes the extension of primary power with new transformers and secondary electrical distribution to approximately 36 RV hookup sites and the layout of connection pedestals at each RV site. This project is phase I of multiple future phases and will address electrical connection improvements to the entire campground. Engineer’s estimated project cost is $80,000.

Bids will be received until 10:00 AM (MST) on Thursday, October 30, 2014. Bids may be deposited at the District Administration Office, 690 Big Thompson Avenue, or mailed to P.O. Box 1379, Estes Park, Colorado 80517. No faxed or emailed Bids will be accepted. Sealed Bids should be in an envelope labeled “Estes Park Campground at Mary’s Lake Electrical Distribution System Improvements Phase I”. Bids will be opened and publicly read to all those present at 10 AM on Thursday, October 30, 2014.

A pre-bid conference will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, October 9, 2014, at the office of Cornerstone Engineering & Surveying, Inc., 1692 Big Thompson Ave., Suite 200, Estes Park, CO 80517. Attendance at this meeting is not a requirement for submitting a Bid for the Work.

Copies of the Contract Documents, complete with Drawings and Specifications, may be obtained from Cornerstone Engineering & Surveying, Inc., 1692 Big Thompson Ave., Suite 200, Estes Park, CO 80517, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ($10.00) per set (send an additional $10.00 per set if local mailing is requested). Checks shall be made payable to Cornerstone Engineering & Surveying, Inc.

COMMON POINT OUTDOOR SHOOTING RANGE BRIDGE REPAIR PROJECT (April 2014)

Estes Valley Recreation and Park District ("EVRPD" or "District") released a public bid for the repair of the Common Point Outdoor Shooting Range Road Bridge at 970 Noels Draw, Drake, CO., 80515. This bridge is located off of Highway 34, approximately 3.5 miles from Mall Road in Estes Park. Bids were received until 12:00 PM (MST) on Friday, April 25, 2014. A pre-bid conference was held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 17, 2014, at the office of Cornerstone Engineering and Surveying, Inc., 1692 Big Thompson Avenue, Suite 200, Estes Park, CO., 80517.

ESTES PARK GOLF COURSE HOLE 17 RECLAMATION, REBUILD, AND CONSTRUCTION (February 2014)

The Estes Valley Recreation and Park District (EVRPD or District) sought services for the construction of the Estes Park Golf Course Hole 17 Reclamation, Rebuild, and Construction at 1480 Golf Course Road, Estes Park, CO 80517. This property is located on Town of Estes Park land administered and managed by the District as the managing partner providing recreational services.

Bids were due by 12:00 PM (MST) on Wednesday, February 12, 2014. Bids received by 12 P.M. (MST) were opened and publicly read to all those present shortly after 12 P.M. (MST). A pre-bid conference was held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 5, 2014, at the District Maintenance Office, 1480 Golf Course Road, Estes Park, CO 80517. Attendance at this meeting was not a requirement for submitting a bid.

COMMUNITY WELLNESS RECREATION CENTER FEASIBILITY STUDY RFP (July 2013)

The Estes Valley Recreation and Park District (EVRPD) sought proposals from suitably qualified and experienced firms to conduct a feasibility study for a Community Wellness Recreation Center in Estes Park area.  EVRPD is partnering with the Town of Estes Park, the Estes Park School District R-3, the Estes Park Medical Center, and the Estes Valley Public Library District to fund and conduct a feasibility study that examines community input, market assessment, a business plan, operational budgets, partnership options, programs and services, and the financial requirements for the development of a Community Wellness Recreation Center. The proposed study must be completed by November 11, 2013. Proposals were considered from professional firms that demonstrated experience and success in conducting studies for facility designs that encompass health, wellness to include medical services, childcare, and recreational components. EVRPD's Board of Directors awarded the project to PROS Consulting on July 26, 2013.
