The Estes Valley Recreation and Park District encompasses a marina, two golf courses and campgrounds, parks and trails, a community center with swimming pools, gymnasium, weights, cardio and fitness classes, sports and activities for all ages in addition to venues for your events.
HIGHLAND FESTIVAL CLOSURES START ON SEPTEMBER 7!
NOTICE: Temporary Parking Lot Closure at Stanley Park starts Thursday, September 17 due to paving project activity.
The closure is necessary to accommodate staking, electrical, curb and gutter work, grading and paving associated with Phase I of the Stanley Park Paving and Sidewalk Project. We expect the lots to reopen by late October, weather permitting.
What you need to know:
- Alternative Parking: Visitors can park at the asphalt lot due east of the tennis courts, north of Manford Ave. The lots at Cherokee Draw are also an option, with park access available through the Highway 36 Underpass.
- Park Access: The park itself will remain open. Patrons can access the shelters, ballfields, pickleball/tennis courts, skate park, restrooms, dog park and playgrounds via the Fish Creek Trail, adjacent sidewalks and the Lake Estes Trail (through the Highway 36 Underpass).
- Safety: Please stay clear of work crews, cones, barricaded areas, stakes and other construction-zone elements during the closure and be wary of heavy machinery throughout the duration of the project.
